Ways to Nourish your Body and Mind


  • MINDFULNESS. Being mindful encourages you to enjoy the little moments you would otherwise miss. If mindfulness feels like a struggle, make it easy with mindfulness prompts. This practice would infuse more calm into your life. 
  • QUIET YOUR MIND. Quieting your mind is so important for reducing stress. Whether meditating in the morning, make it a priority to quiet your mind at least once a day or writing on a diary your memories, routines, your desires, reflections on ideas, actions to improve. 
  • SELF-REFLECTION. Maybe it's going to be difficult to find the motivation to make time for self-reflection, but it’s worth it to let go of the thoughts floating around in your head. It helps you explore who you are and create more space for positive thinking. Self-reflection is so important for our personal growth. 
  • MORNING ROUTINE. Your morning routine sets the tone for the rest of the day, so try to make something to create a sense of calm at once, little changes can help you start your day on the right foot. Try meditating, writting on your diary, doing a stretching set, drinking a cup of tea, reading a book or journaling 
  • FRESH AIR. Get some fresh air whether taking a walk, meeting with some friends, going to the mountain or to the beach, getting fresh air  is a great way to feel and give new energy to your life . You have to get away from routine to make a refreshed comeback. 
  • SLOW MOVEMENT. Our bodies need and crave slow movements, like yoga or going for a walk. You don't have to sweat every time you go to work-out. Carrying out a controlled and slow set of movements is a good practice to connect with every muscle.
  • VEGGIES.  Try to find ways to sneak vegetables into your meals without making a big deal about it. Be crative with your meals put carrots or spinach in your smoothies, snack on cucumber, pepper and avocado, or squeeze some lemon juice onto plain veggies to make them more interesting.  
  • STRETCH. Keeping our muscles in good conditions is so important to feel self-controlled. Try to introduce a stretching set of 25 minutes in your morning routine and you will feel calm and refreshed to start the day. 
  • COLD & WARM. Take a shower. Change from warm to cold and cold to warm. Try to control your body taking deep breaths. Stay calm, your body will apreciate it and your mind to. You will feel strong mentally and physically.
  • SLEEP. Sleep is one of the biggest factors in our energy levels throughout the day. You have to make sure you're getting a solid eight hours of sleep. It will increase your energy, happiness and productivity.  

Tips for Nourish your Body and Mind


In order to nourish your body in every way, you need to avoid toxic foods and indulge in nutrient-dense cleansing foods. 

Nourishing foods build your body up and make you feel good. They're hydrating, pure, free of chemicals and are in a natural state or close to it. 

Nourishing oils are cold-pressed, non-chemically expelled oils such as olive, coconut, and nut oils. 

When you fix or order a plate of food, make sure you build it by selecting the vegetables (all colors), beans and legumes, and fruits first. 

Add some whole grains if you want.

 Then add a small amount of animal product if you choose.

Eating this way will guarantee that you will stay healthier and avoid chronic disease. 

If you're already sick or healing, consider eliminating all animal and processed foods completely. 

If you're healthy, consider making animal products 10% of your plate or less.

In order to nourish your mind and emotions, slow down, meditate or do some yoga. 

Detach from the everyday pressure you normally put on yourself and think about your priorities. 

Engage in the positivity that comes into your thoughts and ignore the negativity. 

Do what you need to do to improve your self-esteem. 

Get help for your addictions. Learn some humility. 

Stop getting involved in everyone else’s drama and let the world happen on its own. 

Stop judging other people and look at yourself. 

Love yourself and give your time and resources freely. 

Make a list of nice things you can do for other people that you would enjoy. 

Whenever you have negative thoughts, do one of your items. 

Be who you want to be. It all starts inside you.

Let go of all of your expectations and your attachments to material things and outcomes.
